How the porting process works<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Enfonica\u2019s port-in tool, available in the Enfonica Console, provides a seamless way to transfer your phone numbers. Here\u2019s how it works:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Submit a port request<\/strong>. Use the Enfonica Console to submit a valid port request under Phone Numbers <\/em>> Port-in requests<\/em>.<\/li>
  2. Pre-provisioning of numbers<\/strong>. Enfonica pre-provisions the phone numbers in your project, marking them as \u201cPending Activation.\u201d<\/li>
  3. Submission to the upstream carrier<\/strong>. Enfonica submits the port request on your behalf.<\/li>
  4. Carrier approval or rejection.<\/strong> The current provider will either approve or reject the request:
    • If rejected, Enfonica will work with you to resolve the issue and resubmit.<\/li>
    • If approved, the cutover process will begin.<\/li><\/ul><\/li>
    • Cutover process. <\/strong>The timing of the cutover depends on the number type:
      • Local numbers (DIDs): A scheduled cutover date and time will be provided. The porting will occur within a one-hour window.<\/li>
      • Inbound numbers (13\/1300\/1800) and virtual mobile numbers: The numbers will be ported immediately upon approval unless a scheduled cutover is requested.<\/li><\/ul><\/li>
      • Completion of porting<\/strong>. Once the cutover is complete, Enfonica will notify you. The \u201cPending Activation\u201d tag will be removed, and billing will commence.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Porting requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        • List of numbers to be ported<\/li>
        • A recent invoice (no older than 60 days)<\/li>
        • Signed Port Authorization Form (PAF)<\/li>
