Porting your number to Enfonica is simple. And remember, there are zero service interruptions during the process: you can keep using your phone number as normal.

Getting started

1 Submit your porting request

Create a porting request in the app and monitor its progress right from your Enfonica Console account. It takes just 2 minutes.

2 Porting date is confirmed

The Enfonica Porting team will notify you of the confirmed date of your port.

There are no service interruptions. Continue using your phone number with your original provider throughout the whole process, up until the port date to Enfonica.

4 Set up your number ahead of time

During the porting process you can customise your phone number's settings in Enfonica, so everything's ready to go once your number moves over.

On your port date

5 Port is complete

On the date of the port, our Porting team will let you know once your number is ready to use on Enfonica.

FAQ

Phone number porting: common questions.

How long does it take to port a phone number?

Submitting a porting request in the Enfonica Console takes about 2 minutes. Our Porting team then confirms your port date, which is typically 5-10 business days away, and lets you know as soon as your number is ready to use on Enfonica.

Will my phone service be interrupted while my number is ported?

No. There are zero service interruptions: you keep using your number with your original provider right up until the port date.

When should I cancel my old phone provider?

After the port is complete. Once our Porting team confirms your numbers are live on Enfonica, you can cancel your service with the original provider.

Can I port numbers from more than one provider?

Yes. Each porting request covers numbers from a single provider, so create a separate port in request for numbers held with a different provider.

Can I set up my number before the port happens?

Yes. While the port is in progress you can configure your number's settings in Enfonica, such as call routing in Flow or connecting it to your phone system over Cloud SIP, so everything works the moment the number moves over.

What can I do with my number once it's on Enfonica?

Everything you can do with a new Enfonica phone number: build call flows, connect it to your PBX or contact centre, send and receive SMS on mobile numbers, or make and receive calls in Microsoft Teams with Teams Direct Routing.
